About the piece
Handmade and wheel-thrown in Brooklyn, New York, from iron- and manganese-rich dark brown stoneware and fired to Cone 6. The mineral-rich clay creates a naturally deep tone beneath a groggy black slip, which gives the exterior a highly textured, matte surface.
The interior and lower exterior are intentionally left unglazed, allowing the clay to remain porous and support moisture evaporation. A drainage hole at the base helps prevent water from collecting around the roots.
Please note: This planter does not come with its own saucer.

Care
