About the piece
Handmade and wheel-thrown in Brooklyn, New York, from iron-rich red stoneware and fired to Cone 6. The glazed exterior allows the warmth of the clay to emerge through subtle shifts in color and surface.
The interior and lower exterior are intentionally left unglazed, allowing the clay to remain porous and support moisture evaporation. A drainage hole at the base helps prevent water from collecting around the roots. This planter comes with an accompanying saucer.
Each piece is one of a kind.
